Nestled in the San Juan Mountains just outside Pagosa Springs, this family-friendly cabin is the perfect home base for exploring Southwest Colorado. Set along a gravel Forest Service road, the Outpost offers an authentic mountain experience with wildlife, star-filled skies, and cool summer evenings. Like many mountain cabins in Colorado, Cabin 3 does not have air conditioning, but guests stay comfortable with fans, operable windows, and naturally cool nighttime temperatures.

Designed for comfort, simplicity, and connection to the outdoors, Cabin 3 features two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, providing plenty of space for families, friends, or small groups traveling together.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom includes two queen beds, comfortably accommodating up to six guests. Inside, warm wood-paneled walls and rustic mountain character create a cozy atmosphere that feels authentic to the surrounding landscape.
